By making a monetary contribution to Ziphakamise, you help make an immediate difference in the lives of the individuals we empower and uplift. Our program initiatives helps youth, children at risk and poverty stricken families in rural areas throughout our area of operation. These initiatives develop the courage, confidence, and character to make our beautiful country a better place with a brighter future!

FUNDRAISING FOR ZIPHAKAMISE

For the more adventurous, you could get involved in a fundraising event. From marathon running to money box filling –  you can help raise vital funds for us at  home, at work and at school. Whoever  you are and whatever your interests,  we need you to get involved and help  us to make a difference to some of the  most disadvantaged young people in  South Africa.

Do you always have old coins weighing down your pockets or sitting in dusty piles around your house? Loose change can make a big difference in our hands. So why not collect your coins and bring it to us or deposit into our account?

When making a will we naturally think of those closest to us, our friends, family and loved ones. It can also give each and every one of us the chance to do something more, such as helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people get a better start in life and work their way out of poverty with dignity.

The support of charitable trusts and foundations is vital to Ziphakamise’s work and we have received many immensely valuable grants from various trusts and foundations supporting worthwhile projects in KwaZulu Natal and greater South Africa. We welcome and rely on this support which ensures that many of our life changing projects can go ahead. You can read examples of successful education and income generation projects which have been made possible through funding from trusts and foundations.

Ziphakamise is committed to working closely with trusts and foundations to provide tailored proposals, clearly illustrating how we align with your aims and objectives. We can provide a detailed breakdown of exactly how your money will be spent, ensuring transparency. We will also provide you with timely and comprehensive feedback reports documenting the progress of the project you are supporting, providing an overview of the impact through the inclusion of comprehensive project data and advising you of our plans for the future. Ziphakamise has an experienced team dedicated to providing a tailored service to our supporters, ensuring we are able to build long standing relationships.

DONATIONS IN KIND

Ziphakamise needs in-kind (new and gently used) items to help the poor and needy in our area of operation, where the need arises. We collect computers, books, journals, school and office furniture, toys, household items (dishes, pots and pans), clothes, jackets, shoes, etc.

Ziphakamise needs in-kind donations (new and gently used) to help the economically weak in our area of operation. According to Ziphakamise’s business model and ethics, in-kind donations are not sold, rather they are given to the deserving.
