Emseni “Place of His Grace”

Emseni Child & Youth Care Centre was established in 1984 for children and youth who are infected with HIV/AIDS, abused, abandoned, neglected or orphaned.

This is a residential care facility, situated in Albersville, where we cater for +36 children.  Here we provide long or short term shelter for children and youth.  Children orphaned by chronic diseases are housed at Emseni when no remaining relatives can be identified. Wherever possible, our emphasis remains on temporary care and the Social Workers, for the children, to endeavour to locate relatives who are identified for skills training and capacity building to ensure that the environment where the child will be placed is safe.  The care workers provide daily care for the children and the centre offers loving support, Early Education, Restoring Families, and Relationships, Life Skills & Health Issues(HIV/AIDS, TB, Diabetes, Cancer etc), Emotional Care, Physical Care, Outings & General Knowledge building.
